Harp Lessons

Want to learn to play harp music? I would love to teach you! I currently have openings for harp lessons in my private studio in Chicago. Virtual, in-person or hybrid options are available. Contact me or fill out the new student sign up form below to find out the days and times I have available. 

I have been teaching private harp lessons for nearly ten years. I am a passionate educator and a kind encourager. I teach students of all ages and often my students are adults that have always wanted to play the harp. 

Philosophy of Teaching – Think of me as your harp music coach rather than a disciplinarian. If a student dreams of learning to play the harp, their success is in their hands. Only they can put in the time to practice. Only they can bring their passion for the music. As their teacher, I give them the tools they need to succeed and help them learn how to fly.

Buying/Renting a Harp - I will personally, and of no extra charge to you, help you pick out a harp to rent or buy.

Lessons For All Ages – I offer lessons to students of all ages who would like to learn to play the harp. For children who are just learning to read, I recommend weekly 30 minute harp lessons. For middle school/high school students, I recommend weekly 45 to 60 minute lessons. For adult students, I recommend 45 to 60 minute lessons. Adult students may also choose to attend lessons weekly or every other week, depending on their availability.

Harp Lesson Policies – I keep it simple. Practice as much as you can, as often as you can. If you need to cancel a lesson within 24 hours of the lesson, you still pay for the lesson. Otherwise, I am very flexible on lesson times. I understand that things can come up in life and I'm often willing to reschedule for a different time the same week.
